  • Transportation is not​ provided. 
  • Due to FERPA, Counselors and other school staff have no access to student grades and progress until we receive the Final Transcript.

  • Many of our students choose to apply to dual enrollment programs at GSU or Georgia Tech
  • Am I a good fit for Dual Enrollment? 
 
  • Brit Lit Equivalents at GSU-  ENGL 1101, 1102, 2120
  • American Lit Equivalent at GSU- ENGL 2130
​
  • 1-2 Credit hours = 0.5 high school credits
  • 3-5 Credit hours = 1.0 high school credits
 
  • Students can take a Maximum of 3 dual enrollment credits during the summer.  GSU recommends fewer. 
​
  • Mr. Ingram MUST have a list of your courses in order to approve funding.  There is no method to approve funding without listing courses. Below is an image of the Counselor view.

Summer/Fall 2024
All students planning to take a Dual Enrollment Class, including those currently taking a Dual Enrollment class, should attend a Dual Enrollment advisement meeting with Mr. Ingram between January 16 and February 9.  These small group meetings will be held in the Counseling Conference Room.
Failure to meet with Mr. Ingram for Dual Enrollment Advisement during this timeframe will result in a delay of Dual Enrollment Registration. 

The DCSD deadline for Summer/Fall 2024 Dual Enrollment was 3/15/24.

Work Based Learning

​Transportation is not​ provided. ​ Students must meet with the WBL Coordinator weekly.
